'Rabb Da Sohna Roop Hunde ne Punjabi ': Aditi Mittal

The city’s most awaited mega-event, Chandigarh’s Got Talent tickled the funny bone till the audience could not breathe. While the talented people from across the Tricity mesmerized everyone with their skills, stand-up comedians Rahul Dua and Aditi Mittal proved to be a cherry on the cake!

Voyagers, a non-profitable organization comprising of the students of PEC University of Technology attracted a whopping crowd with an amalgamation of events like Chandigarh’s Got Talent and Laugh Out Loud. Sagar Sharma, Prathampal Singh and Udit & Aastha, bagged the first, second and third prize respectively, in Chandigarh’s Got Talent and took home exciting gift hampers and cash prizes.

Besides that, events like a painting competition, and quiz competition also took place. The evening saw some beautiful and elegant models, in a fashion show sponsored by Bittu Fashioners followed by an amusing comedy show. Rahul Dua, stand-up comedian and NDTV Rising Comedy Star, took the hearts of many girls in the audience with his charm and humor.

Somewhere between discussing his nostalgic childhood while growing up in the beautiful city of Ludhiana, and settling in the hustle-bustle of New Delhi, the audience sought solace in his comic. One of the better-known faces of the Indian English stand-up comedy scene in India, an actress and writer, Aditi Mittal won the heart of the audience by saying that Punjabis are a beautiful incarnation of God. Exuding an easy charm, she has been rated amongst India’s top 10 stand-up comedians by The Times of India. Her prolific acting skills and humor stood testimony to the same. She is the face of breaking stereotypes of the Indian society, and this was clearly evident when she bespoke about topics which are considered to be a taboo, with an impeccable hilarity.
