Zorawar Review: Honey Singh's comeback doesn't impress much

After a long break due to illness Yo Yo Honey Singh has made his come back with the movie ZORAWAR. Oddan taan sadde rapper /music director di batour actor  eh  third Punjabi movie ae after Mirza & Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22, but as solo hero eh first movie ae te eh gall disdi hai is movie ton.

Taan he appa eh gall keh sakde aan ke Yo Yo Honey Singh is  ZORAWAR and ZORAWAR movie is Yo Yo Honey Singh! Kyon? Kyonki jiddan suraj de aale duaale planets ghumde ne uddan hi poori movie Indian Special Agent Honey Singh (ZORAWAR) de aale duaale ghumdi hai.
This is neither a usual masala potpouri nor a serious type, but Zorawar zara ik hatt ke suspense thriller hai.

Mukul Dev, Achnit Kaur and Pawan Malhotra - Enha da taan pehla hi pata hai that they are brilliant actors so similarly es movie vich vi inha ne behtareen  acting kitti hai. Te non-actor Honey Singh ne definitely kaafi mehnat te time laaya hai apne acting skills nu improve karan vich. Taan hi ess wari acting khaasi natural te wadiya laggi. Pehla naalo farq ae ;)
But MTV VJ Bani J da use change tareeke naal ni hoya movie vich coz masa ek do line de dialogues honge unha de rest lagda hai ki unha di tattoos and fit body aali look layi hi rakheya geya ae is movie ohna nu.
Parul Gulati jinha naal ZORAWAR nu love hunda hai, her role is quite small as this is an action movie but still she looks and acts according to her character which is decent enough.

Movie start de 15 min illogical jehi lagdi hai. First half vich movie thodi slow lagdi hai te 2nd half vich taan hor vi slow. Zorawar's  costumes, his hairstyle and his overall looks rarely justifies his Army Man's character. Oh kisse passo army major nahi lagda te saanu lagda hai ki Punjabi movies bnaun waleya nu apne kirdaar di look nu seriously lena chahida ae. Editing thodi hor crisp ho sakdi si te Kuch scene vich logic paaya ja sakda si to make it more bearable.

But overall it is a nice attempt to try a different genre of action thriller otherwise same comedy movies bandi rehndiya ne Punjabi cinema vich. Next week ik hor action-thriller, Killer Punjabi release ho rahi hai with Pooja Batra (her first Ballewood debut) and Gulshan Grover in prominent roles. Let's see how the audience accepts it.

But hune Zorawar nu assi de rahe haan: 2/5 Stars
