Priyanka Chopra's Late Father Has Sung This Track For 'Sarvann'

With just 10 days to go before the release of one of the most awaited films of 2017, Sarvann, Priyanka Chopra (the producer) has revealed the biggest secret related to the movie!  

Sarvann, starring Amrinder Gill, Simi Chahal and Ranjit Bawa revolves around an NRI, played by Gill, who returns to India.

Chopra recently shared the third song from the film’s soundtrack, a famous shabad by Guru Gobind Singh - 'Mittar Pyare Nu' - which was sung by her late father, Dr Ashok Chopra.

Priyanka revealed her emotional reasons on Twitter for including the song on her first Punjabi home production, saying “it really feels like he’s next to me when I hear it”. It was a contributing factor in making Sarvann.

‘Mitar Pyare Nu' has been composed by Jatinder Shah.

Dr Ashok Chopra, a retired physician in the Army, passed away in 2013 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Priyanka revealed her emotional reasons on Twitter for including the song on her first Punjabi home production, saying “it really feels like he’s next to me when I hear it”. It was a contributing factor in making Sarvann.
