Staying true to their commitment of rolling out meaningful and family-oriented movies for the Punjabi audience, the super-talented team of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment, the production house behind films like Angrej, Bambukat, Love Punjab, Lahoriye and Vekh Baraatan Challiyan, has announced another amusingly titled movie today!
Called 'Golak, Bugni, Bank Te Batua', the film's shoot has begun today near Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab and is expected to get a release this summer only. Being directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary, the details of the film are yet awaited.
According to sources, the Rhythm Boyz team is super excited to work with Ksshitij Chaudhary again after the success of Vekh Baraatan Challiyan (2017), a film that saw the debut of popular Hindi actress, Kavita Kaushik in Punjabi cinema. A comic movie with a strong social message, VBC became a runaway hit last July with its unique Punjabi-Haryanvi theme, the amazing acting by Binnu Dhillon and of course, the heartwarming guest appearance by Amrinder Gill.
While Bambukat's 'Pakko' (Simmi Chahal) shall be playing the female lead in Golak, Bugni, Banke Te Batua, Harish Verma shall be playing the male lead. The grapevine though suggests, that Amrinder Gill might also be seen in the film - what role? That we don't know as yet!
Iampunjaabi.com wishes all the best to the team of Golak, Bugni, Bank te Batua. Keep watching this space for more info.
